Rachel Pagel, MS, LPC, CSAC, CS-it, is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling through Southern New Hampshire University and her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology/Psychology from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. She is skilled in working with those in the criminal justice system, in treatment courts, in medication assisted treatment programs and treating adults with both Mental Health and Substance Abuse issues. She also enjoys working with couples and families and recognizes the value that they have in an individual’s happiness and over all wellbeing.
Her areas of specialty involve using evidence based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing strategies (MI), Solution focused therapy and she takes a very client centered approach. She has been trained in the use of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and has practice using this technique with women who have Borderline Personality Disorders as well as adults who struggle with other emotional regulation disorders.
She became a therapist to empower others to overcome their personal obstacles and to live more fulfilling lives and believes in the importance of using humor, spirituality, relaxation training and mindfulness techniques to help her clients achieve their goals and desired outcomes.
